Sobremesa is how Beauty Republic is changing the way people experience skincare: at a shared table instead of alone on a screen. Guests learn their skin, build a routine with an esthetician, and leave with real connections to the people beside them.

Sobremesa is a ticketed, intimate gathering where skincare becomes communal. You arrive. You sit. Each place at the table holds a mirror, a linen, and a curated selection of products chosen from your intake answers — chosen specifically for your skin, and available to take home at the end of the evening.
Marissa Duarte, licensed esthetician and founder of Beauty Republic, guides the table through each product, each ingredient, each step. You leave with deep knowledge of your skin, a community you've shared with, and the option to take home the products built for you.
This is not a spa. It is not a class. It is something else.
How the evening unfolds
Every seat is intentional.
Every product, personal.
Sobremesa runs about 90 minutes. There are no treatments. There is no menu to scroll. There is only the table — and the time to actually learn your skin.
Your intake
Ticket holders complete a skin questionnaire at least 5 days before the event. Marissa reviews every answer and builds each guest's palette by hand.
Your palette
You sit down to a place card with your name and a curated set of products waiting at your seat. Each one was chosen for you — your skin type, your climate, your life.
The ritual
Marissa guides the group through each product and the reasoning behind it. No pressure, no pitch — just knowledge, passed around a table like food.
Present, fully
Guests set phones aside. Marissa's team takes group photos and shares a download link after. The table is its own world for those 90 minutes.
Your kit
Your ticket covers the experience — the table, the education, the ritual. At the end of the evening, Marissa opens the opportunity to purchase the products you experienced. Nothing is automatic.
Time to connect
The 30 minutes after the formal session are built for it — questions for Marissa, conversation with the people beside you, the kind of exchange that happens when everyone's just slowed down together.

Seats
Each Sobremesa is limited to an intimate group — typically 8 to 20 guests. Every seat is spoken for in advance.
Duration
Plan for about 2 hours: 90 minutes at the table, with time after for questions and lingering.

Where
Sobremesa moves between intimate spaces in Tucson — courtyards, studio spaces, private homes. Each location is announced with the event.
